FAQ

Answers to most common questions about products, orders, shipments, and payments.
The Basics
Do you offer free parking?  Plus

Yes! We have a free lot behind our building or you can find a spot on the street for free.

How can I use my gift card?  Plus

Gift cards can be used for spa services, products, and gratuity; in other words, you are welcome to use your gift card however you like! The only limitation is that gift cards cannot be used to purchase other gift cards.

What can I expect when I arrive? Plus

Our hospitality team will greet you upon arrival and get you checked in for your service! While you wait, feel free to enjoy a simple refreshing beverage on us. Once settled in, we will get you comfortable in a room and our hospitality team will introduce you to your care provider for the day. From there, relax and enjoy your time with us.

What amenities do you offer?  Plus

We have lounge chairs available to use before + after your services, as well as water and hot tea. Robes are available for clients receiving multiple services. Our estheticians will provide you with a smock to wear during head spa services. We also have a private Blow Dry Bar complete with mirrors, heat styling tools, brushes, and combs so you can feel confident when you leave!

What if I have to cancel last minute? Plus

If there is a family or medical emergency that causes you to need to cancel or reschedule, we waive the fee. But as long as you reschedule or cancel more than 24 hours before your appointment, you are all good. You can read our full cancellation policy here.

Spa Services & Packages
What is the difference between Relaxation and Deep Tissue Massage?  Plus

Relaxation Massage is light-medium pressure and is better for relaxation; Deep Tissue Massage utilizes sustained firm pressure to target especially tight areas and relieve pain. With a Deep Tissue Massage, you may experience soreness afterwards.

What is the difference between a Signature and Clinical Facial?  Plus

While both are 60-minute services that include facial steam and extractions, the Signature Facial uses our Dandle skincare line while the Clinical Facial uses Image clinical-grade skincare and incorporates an upgrade of your and your esthetician’s choosing (e.g. gua sha, LED light therapy, ice globes)

What is the difference between the Clinical Facial and the Organic Clinical Facial?  Plus

The only difference between these two services is the product line used. In our clinical facial we use the clinical line, Image, while in the Organic Clinical Facial we use Elina Organics line.

Do you do couples’ massages?  Plus

Yes, we have the accommodations to provide two simultaneous massages in separate rooms. However, our spa rooms are very small with room for only one massage table.

Can I book spa services for a group?  Plus

Yes, at Dandle we can accommodate up to four individuals at a time. We are happy to help you plan a day of relaxation! In fact, we do it often! The most efficient way to book a group is by calling our spa directly.

Can I share my spa package with someone?  Plus

Unfortunately we can't... spa packages may only be used by the person who made the purchase. You may purchase a spa package FOR someone else if you’d like!

Products
Do you make everything in-house?  Plus

There are several products we make in-house: our body oil, candles, bath salt, aromatherapy mist, and aromatherapy blends/roll-ons! We work closely with labs here in the USA to produce our more complicated products that contain water to ensure they meet rigorous production standards and are safe for your whole family.

What does EWG Score mean? Plus

EWG score is a rating system from 1 to 10 developed by the Environmental Working Group (EWG) to help consumers make informed decisions about product safety and health. A low score indicates a cleaner and safer product while a high score is not recommended. All of our products score 3 or below!

What makes your skincare better than what I use now? Plus

Our skincare makes healthy skin easy to achieve! Our low number of ingredients ensures that you don't have to do tons of research to figure out what you're using on your skin. Our low EWG scores confirm that the toxic-load will be minimal for your body, unlike many brands you will find at stores like Ulta and Target.

Do you wholesale your products? Plus

We sure do! We work with many local and regional brands to sell our currently labeled products but also can curate a custom scent and label for your brand too! Learn more on our wholesale page!

The Questions No One Wants to Ask Out Loud
It's my first time getting a massage, do I take all my clothes off? Plus

You don't have to! Our massage therapist will give you a short orientation of the service before it starts and cover this, but more than anything, we just want you to be comfortable, relax and be cared for. That includes undressing to your comfortability. We do encourage females to remove their bras so the therapist can work on your back with more ease.

What if the massage hurts? Plus

It shouldn't! Talk to our massage therapists about pressure and what is comfortable to you. You can let them know that they can apply more or less pressure at any point during the massage. If it ever hurts, please let the therapist know!

Do I talk? Does the care provider talk? I'm afraid it's going to be awkward. Plus

This is totally up to you. We tend to lean towards a more quiet care so you can relax, but if you love chatting it up, go for it! We love getting to know you and what you love! Remember, we do this every day and love it. So it's only awkward if you make it awkward!

Do I pay before or after? Am I supposed to tip for something like this? Plus

Again, totally up to you! You can pay online when you book, or you can wait and pay in person, before or after your appointment. While tipping isn't required, we encourage it! Our care providers are skilled in their craft and it is a tremendous blessing to them, both financially and emotionally, when someone leaves gratuity!
